The Norwood recycling center was established by the Norwood Lake Association in November 1990 as a free service to citizens of the community to encourage waste reduction and eliminate burning of household waste.
It is a volunteer, not for profit service.
The Norwood Kiwanis Club sells the glass collected to benefit their many great programs in the community.
The Boy Scouts collect redeemable bottles and cans to benefit our local scouts.
All expenses incurred are paid by the Norwood Lake Association.
'Donations Accepted'
Our volunteers keep coming back for the free coffee!
New volunteers always welcome.
