What Other People Say.
Potsdam, N.Y. January 27, 1903
As manufacturers of the town of Potsdam, we have not only observed the baneful effect of drink upon employees, and the cause of want or suffering to their families, but also find it the cause of poor, unreliable help and workmanship both as to quality of the labor performed and the amount accomplished, resulting in very serious loss to the manufacturer.
We know that it is better for the manufacturer as also to their employees and their families to have the town a no license town, and know if Potsdam is carried for no license it would tend to induce manufacturers to locate in the town.
Because we believe the above to be true, we ask you to join us in voting NO upon each liquor proposition and thus help to materially benefit the town.
